About the Operations Salary Services consists of 13 salary consultants working in teams around all registrations and controls to ensure that the correct salary is paid to all employees within Region Västernorrland. We continuously work to develop and improve our salary processes to provide the best possible support and service to the operations. We have bright and pleasant premises in Örnsköldsvik in a building called Skeppet, behind the hospital. We are recruiting a salary consultant to the Salary Services department with a work location in Örnsköldsvik. This is a full-time temporary position, with a start date of September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027. Job Responsibilities As a salary consultant at Region Västernorrland, you will have an important role! You will be in close contact with managers within your area of responsibility, which consists of a number of operations, and support them with salary registration and salary-related questions. You will be part of the salary services telephone support for employees and answer questions. Other work tasks you will perform include: Verification of information in the salary system Corrections in the salary system Verification of submitted documentation Registration of manual documentation Support to employees within the region Training/support to new managers Participation in various working groups for operational development Issuing various certificates regarding salary and employment You will receive training from the regular salary consultant where you will gradually take over work tasks and learn the salary system and routines in daily salary work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has a complete upper secondary school education Has good computer skills and good knowledge of Word and Excel Has good Swedish language skills, both written and spoken It is meritorious if you: Are a trained salary specialist, economist, or have equivalent education Have experience with salary work or accounting work Have experience working with the HR system Heroma or another salary system To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Self-directed Service-oriented Quality-conscious Ability to collaborate To thrive in this role, you need the ability to work under some pressure and prioritize your work tasks, as you will be working toward a deadline before each salary payment.
