About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more employees. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service Service Center (KSC) supports the authority with personnel and financial administrative services, support functions, and the authority's switchboard function. The goal of KSC is to reduce administration for managers and client-facing staff through a combination of centralization and expanded support.
The position is located within the Personnel Administration Section. The section's work includes salary administration, personnel administration, schedule management, travel expenses, and reimbursements.

Job Description
Your responsibilities include registering employment, drafting employment contracts, creating certificates, and administering travel expenses. You will also work with ongoing tasks related to our salary cycle, for example, monitoring lists and error and notification lists. We appreciate employees who help develop our processes and working methods. The role as payroll administrator may also include participation in various assignments related to, for example, process improvement work within our operations.
We work together in teams where it is important that you can collaborate and share your knowledge. You provide support to employees and managers throughout the authority both through our case management system and by phone. You are self-directed, flexible, and take personal responsibility for your tasks. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team. In your professional role, you are service-oriented and always communicate clearly.

We are looking for you who have:
- Post-secondary education as a payroll specialist/payroll consultant or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
- Recent experience in payroll administration
- Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Very good computer skills
It is also advantageous to have:
- Education in employment law
- Experience with the Heroma personnel system or other equivalent payroll system
- Experience with personnel work in the public sector
- Experience with work involving state collective agreements and salary processes
- Very good knowledge of the Office package
