Are you meticulous, service-oriented, and experienced in payroll administration? We're now looking for a payroll administrator for our client in Malmö. Here you'll have the opportunity to work in a broad role with responsibility for the payroll process and many contact points within the organization. About the Position As a payroll administrator, you'll be responsible for administering payroll from start to finish and ensuring that salary payments are correct and processed on time. You'll work closely with employees, managers, the finance department, and other internal functions. The role includes registering and verifying payroll data, managing absences, vacation, sick leave, and other allowances, as well as answering questions about pay and collective agreements. You'll also contribute to developing and quality-assuring payroll administration procedures. The position is full-time based in Malmö and the assignment is for 6 months, with possible extension. Responsibilities Administer payroll for salaried and collectively employed staff. Register and verify time, absences, vacation, sick leave, and other payroll data. Handle travel expenses, disbursements, benefits, meal allowances, and other compensation. Conduct reconciliations and quality-assure payroll data before payroll runs. Answer questions from employees and managers regarding pay, vacation, and employment terms. Generate reports and documentation for finance, HR, and authorities. Contribute to improvement initiatives and development of procedures and processes. About You We're looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and confident working independently with payroll administration. You thrive in a service-oriented approach and have a talent for building good relationships with both employees and managers. Since the role involves handling sensitive personal data, it's important that you work responsibly and with high integrity. Formal Qualifications The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a payroll administrator and documented experience working with the Agda payroll system. It's also important that you have post-secondary education in payroll or finance, which provides a solid foundation for handling payroll processes correctly and efficiently. You have a very good understanding of the entire payroll process, from data and registration through verification, reconciliation, and final salary payment. You also have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, enabling you to communicate clearly and correctly in both internal and external contacts. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and experience working efficiently in relevant systems and tools, and handling information carefully to ensure smooth and correct payroll management. Experience with collective agreements, employment law, payroll calculations, and reporting to authorities is also a plus. Personal Qualities Meticulous, structured, and responsible.
