Are you thorough, service-oriented, and experienced in payroll administration? We are now seeking a payroll administrator for our client in Malmö. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a broad role with responsibility for the payroll process and many contact points throughout the organization. About the Position As a payroll administrator, you are responsible for administering payroll from start to finish and ensuring that salary payments are correct and made on time. You will work closely with employees, managers, the accounting department, and other internal functions. The role includes registering and verifying payroll data, managing absences, vacation, sick leave, and other compensation, as well as answering questions about pay and collective agreements. You will also contribute to developing and quality-assuring payroll administration procedures. The position is full-time based in Malmö and the assignment is for 6 months, with possible extension. Responsibilities Administer payroll for salaried and collective employees. Register and verify time, absences, vacation, sick leave, and other payroll data. Handle travel expenses, receipts, benefits, per diems, and other compensation. Conduct reconciliations and quality-assure payroll data prior to payroll runs. Respond to questions from employees and managers regarding pay, vacation, and employment terms. Prepare reports and documentation for accounting, HR, and government agencies. Contribute to improvement work and development of procedures and processes. About You We are looking for someone who is organized, thorough, and confident in working independently with payroll administration. You thrive in a service-oriented environment and find it easy to build good relationships with both employees and managers. Since the role involves handling sensitive personal information, it is important that you work responsibly and with high integrity. Formal Qualifications The role requires at least 5 years of experience as a payroll administrator, as well as documented experience working in the payroll system Agda. It is also important that you have post-secondary education in payroll or accounting, which provides a solid foundation for handling payroll processes correctly and efficiently. You have a very good understanding of the entire payroll process, from data and registration to verification, reconciliation, and final salary payment. You also have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, which enables you to communicate clearly and correctly in both internal and external contacts. Additionally, you have good computer skills and experience working efficiently in relevant systems and tools, as well as handling information carefully to ensure smooth and correct payroll processing. Experience with collective agreements, labor law, payroll calculation, and reporting to government agencies is also a merit. Personal Qualities Thorough, organized, and responsible.
