Cleaning and Facilities Service is responsible for facility maintenance in the municipality's premises, with a focus on daily cleaning and planned maintenance. We also offer facilities service, internal mail handling, and custodial services. We are approximately 350 employees and together we clean 510,000 square meters daily across schools, elderly care facilities, and other municipal premises. The work of a facility cleaner As a facility cleaner with us, you have an important role in creating clean, safe, and sustainable environments. For us, facility cleaning is not just a job – it is part of creating a better experience for those who use our schools, preschools, elderly care facilities, sports halls, offices, and other municipal premises. We therefore strive to continuously improve our cleaning methods and ensure that our employees have access to modern tools and cleaning systems. Your tasks: Daily cleaning, planned deep cleaning, and floor care. Machine operation. Maintenance of cleaning equipment and machines. Ordering cleaning supplies. Daily contact with people in the facilities. Quality control of your own work to ensure we maintain good cleaning standards. Working hours are daytime with weekend work every third weekend. About you We are looking for someone who likes order and organization and wants to contribute to improvement. You enjoy working independently and in collaboration with colleagues. If you have an eye for detail and like working in a structured manner, this is the job for you! We want you to have: Completed upper secondary education. Experience with facility cleaning in public environments or other environments that the employer deems relevant to the assignment. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate and follow instructions, as well as basic knowledge of English. It is advantageous if you have facility cleaning training through, for example, SRY, a folk high school, or distance education (SRY=Service Industries Vocational Board). Prepared to handle work that can be physically demanding, both through heavy lifting and operating cleaning machines, floor care, and more. Upon employment, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented, due to the legislation on suitability checks.
