Ref: 20261896 Job Responsibilities Cleaning Services is responsible for facility maintenance in parts of the municipality's operations, including preschools, primary schools, sports halls, care facilities, and recreational activities. Within Cleaning Services, approximately 420 people work daily delivering service through cleaning assignments to various departments in the city. Your responsibilities include machine-based facility maintenance work, facility cleaning in municipal facilities, washing mops, and planning your work time in accordance with cleaning schedules. You will also perform window cleaning, carpet and furniture washing, as well as move-out cleaning. Transportation between work sites is primarily by bicycle, on foot, or by bus, and the work is physically demanding to some extent despite using environmentally friendly and ergonomic cleaning methods. We have schedules that start and end at different times, all falling within the 07:00-18:00 timeframe. Some of the facilities we maintain are open every day of the week, which means weekend work may occur. Qualifications We are looking for you who have At least 1 year (12 months) of professional facility maintenance work experience. It is a requirement that you can obtain information via email, intranet, and be able to report in a payroll system. Since reliable daily communication is crucial for our operations, you need to have basic knowledge of Swedish: for example, you should be able to read a job description, understand dosage instructions, and understand oral instructions. Meritorious: Work experience in facility maintenance work within the Service Administration, Cleaning Services. Since we primarily move by bicycle, it is important that you have the ability to cycle. It is meritorious if you have any of the professional certifications SRY, PRYL, or equivalent. It is also meritorious if you have worked with floor care, window cleaning, and major cleaning. It is meritorious if you have a B-class driver's license for manual transmission vehicles. Since the work is independent, it is important that you are comfortable working autonomously, which means you take responsibility for your tasks and can plan your work well so that you deliver results and meet customer expectations. You enjoy having people around you and have a good sense of service toward those you meet during the day. You thrive with variety as you may have several different work sites during the day.
