This position is a full-time temporary role that runs through May 2027. Job Responsibilities As a Facilities Maintenance Worker, your tasks include performing daily and periodic cleaning in the school facilities. You work according to established methods and instructions to ensure quality and contribute to clean and pleasant spaces. We operate with the goal that students and staff at schools feel good. We therefore want you to think from an ergonomic and environmentally conscious perspective. We follow established hygiene rules and provide you with work uniforms to maintain a professional appearance towards our customers. It is important that you have good customer service skills and are comfortable with the responsibility of being a positive adult role model at school. Good communication and collaboration with both students and colleagues in facilities maintenance and other roles at school are essential for your success. Together we find the best approach to give students the best possible learning environment! We work together in the broader perspective and help each other as needed. This may also include work at other schools. Work is performed during daytime hours according to schedule based on school needs. You will work at multiple schools across a relatively large geographical area, sometimes at 2 schools during the same workday. You will use a company car or public transportation to travel between schools. Qualifications We are looking for someone with SRY training or other relevant vocational training in facilities maintenance. You have several years of experience in facilities maintenance and have experience with deep cleaning and floor care. A B-class driver's license and good driving experience are required for this position. As a person, you are service-oriented and have good customer service skills. For you it is natural to be the face of the operation and to put the customer first. You need to be thorough in your work and take responsibility for tasks being completed according to schedule. The position also requires that you are flexible and adaptable. You enjoy varied work and can quickly learn new tasks as circumstances change. We also see that you have very strong ability to work well with colleagues. Since part of the facilities maintenance work involves contact with our customers and the ability to work according to job descriptions, you must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have basic IT skills for managing personnel systems and email. Since you are our face to the public, it is important for the operation and self-evident for you to be a good ambassador for the department. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.
