Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for maintaining Hylliebadet to a high standard in terms of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort. In addition to daily facilities maintenance work, you also contribute to developing the operations. You help improve cleaning routines and work methods, share your professional expertise with colleagues, and help ensure that facilities maintenance maintains a high and consistent quality over time. You work according to a schedule that includes evening and weekend shifts. Your responsibilities include: Perform facilities maintenance in pool areas, changing rooms, and service areas Responsible for developing and monitoring cleaning routines and work methods Provide professional development to colleagues in matters related to facilities maintenance, hygiene, and ergonomics Ensure that cleaning equipment, materials, and tools are used appropriately Responsible for identifying areas for improvement and actively contributing to operational development Contribute to ensuring our visitors have a positive experience at Hylliebadet Qualifications As a person, you enjoy taking initiative and see what needs to be done. You are well-organized, have an eye for detail, and contribute to good teamwork in your work group. The position requires the ability to interact with customers, so we value your customer service orientation. Last but not least, you are safety-conscious, responsible, and embody values such as respect, commitment, and creativity. Requirements: High school diploma or other education deemed equivalent 3 years of experience as a facilities caretaker Experience in a service-related profession with customer contact Training in cleaning, such as Insta 800 or SRY Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles Swimming proficiency – Swimming test will be conducted for candidates invited to interview Meritorious: Experience with administrative work Experience introducing colleagues, developing routines, or contributing to improvement initiatives Experience with facilities maintenance in pool and shower environments About the Workplace Hylliebadet With over 300,000 visitors annually, Hylliebadet is one of the most attractive meeting places in Malmö. The facility is Malmö's newest and one of Sweden's most energy-efficient pools. A flexible and state-of-the-art facility with two teaching pools, a 50-meter pool, family section, gym/wellness area, relaxation area, conference spaces, and a café. The ambition is for the facility to be a fresh and welcoming family pool, with a variety of activities and events.
