For the fall term of 2026, we are seeking a dedicated and meticulous facility custodian for a temporary position at Adapted Elementary School on Lidingö. Adapted Elementary School is a small school centrally located on Lidingö with excellent transportation connections by bus and the Lidingö train. Welcome to become part of Lidingö Municipality – the bridge to the future. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a facility custodian with us, you have an important role in our operations. You are responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and pleasant for students, staff, and visitors. Your duties include, among other things: • Cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, kitchen, and common areas • Emptying trash bins and performing simple maintenance of the facilities • Contributing to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment The work is performed Monday through Friday after the school day has concluded. The position is part-time, 5 hours per day. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Has experience in facility maintenance, preferably in schools, preschools, or other public operations • Is self-motivated and responsible in your work • Is meticulous, service-minded, and has a keen eye for detail • Enjoys working in a structured and efficient manner • Has good collaboration skills and professional demeanor Employment form: Fixed-term employment. The municipality applies individual salary determination. Start date September 21 or as soon as agreed. Temporary position for the fall term 2026 with a strong possibility of extension.
