The Community Development Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments, responsible for several central community functions. With approximately 450 employees, we work with planning, development, and management of the municipality's infrastructure, properties, parks, and outdoor environments. The department is also responsible for water and wastewater operations, waste management, meal services, facilities maintenance, and emergency services. The Facilities Maintenance Unit within the Community Development Administration is responsible for keeping the municipality's properties clean and pleasant. We handle daily cleaning and periodic maintenance, such as machine floor care, window cleaning, and deep cleaning, in approximately seventy buildings with a focus on schools and preschools. We are looking for someone who notices the details others miss and who enjoys creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Daily facilities maintenance and periodic tasks, floor cleaning with scrubbing machines and operation of cleaning machines/washing machines. Administrative work such as ordering materials may occur. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with: • experience in facilities maintenance • knowledge of floor care and deep cleaning It is advantageous if you have: • a cleaning certification such as SRY or PRYL or other training deemed equivalent by the employer • basic computer skills to use internal systems • a Class B driver's license As a person, we are looking for someone who performs their work professionally and seeks improvements in their work to contribute to a good work environment and high quality.
