Facilities Attendant

The Infrastructure Department We are looking for additional staff in facilities maintenance at SLU Ultuna. Are you the person we're looking for? About the Job As a facilities attendant, you and your colleagues play an important role in ensuring the overall experience in our facilities. Together, you create an environment that conveys a safe, attractive, modern, and sustainable workplace for our employees and all students. You will primarily work with cleaning, but other tasks may also occur, such as refilling water/coffee machines, etc. Your Background We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, attentive, responsible, and takes initiative. Your ability to collaborate is excellent, your social competence is high, and you enjoy working in a team but can also work independently. No previous experience in facilities maintenance is required—you will work closely with competent colleagues who will guide and support you in your role. If you have previous experience, that is a merit. SLU is a workplace with many different nationalities, so it is a requirement that you can communicate well both verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. Requirements: Upper secondary school education Category B driver's license Swedish spoken & written English spoken & written About Us The Infrastructure Department, Infra, is part of the central administrative support at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Infra's mission is to provide cost-effective, tailored, and well-functioning services both locally at our main locations in Umeå, Uppsala, and Alnarp where we are represented, and also to contribute to service development across all of SLU. Overall, the department also handles facilities management issues and lease administration, as well as provides guidance and competence support in environmental and safety matters. We and our employees are expected to actively contribute to the university's development through engagement and initiative. Infra has approximately 120 employees and generates annual revenues of around 110 MSEK.
