Saulkrastu novada pašvaldība (reg.nr.90000068680) invites you to join their team SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (for an indefinite period) Key Job Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic assessments of children's speech, language, and written language disorders; provide corrective and developmental activities for language disorders and prevention; Develop a speech-language pathology session schedule, complete speech-language pathologist documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and institutional standards; Use diverse teaching methods in language corrective and developmental activities, create and systematize necessary teaching and distribution materials, and correct written work completed by children during speech-language pathology sessions; Organize assessment of speech, language, and written language development; Prepare written reports on children's speech, language, and written language development; Prepare written reports on the results of psychological assessment of a child who is referred to a state or municipal pedagogical-medical commission for the provision of support measures in the educational process and state examinations or in other cases provided for in regulatory acts, or upon written request from a parent/legal guardian in accordance with speech-language pathologist competence; Consult with and involve children's parents (legal guardians) in corrective and developmental activities, consult with teachers, provide recommendations for children's speech and language development; Participate in meetings of the educational institution's pedagogical council, support staff commission or group meetings, and in other meetings as needed; Work in general education institutions individually and in groups with children. Requirements for Candidates: Higher education and speech-language pathologist qualification in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements; Pedagogical work experience and work experience in a similar position; Ability to independently plan and organize work performance in work with children, their parents (legal guardians), and colleagues; Knowledge and understanding of the education system; Sense of responsibility, discipline, precision, ability to justify decisions made or actions taken; Ability to express and substantiate one's opinion with arguments; Responsibility for conscientious, quality, and timely fulfillment of duties and work results; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain constructive working relationships; Precision and high sense of responsibility; Good computer skills; Excellent knowledge of the state language; Category B driver's license.
