About the operation The Speech-Language Pathology Clinic within the Primary Care Area West is located at Sollefteå Hospital. Those of us working at the clinic have roles as occupational therapists, physical therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and speech-language pathologists. We help both children and adults with speech and language disorders, oral motor disorders, and swallowing difficulties. We are now seeking a speech-language pathologist for our operation for a temporary position. The temporary position is full-time for 6 months with the possibility of extension. Start date by mutual agreement. Job responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat children and adults with speech and language disorders, oral motor disorders, and swallowing difficulties Provide information, instruction, guidance, and education to patients, family members, and staff Test and prescribe assistive devices to facilitate communication and swallowing Participate in relevant team/patient conferences Medical documentation The main work areas of this position are pediatric language, language assessments, and inpatient care; we are also open to discussion about this. Some remote work is available.
