This position is divided between children and youth habilitation and adult habilitation, giving you varied work with patients of different ages and life stages. Habilitation provides services to people with congenital or early acquired disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and motor impairment.
As a speech-language pathologist, you work with assessment and treatment of communication, eating, and swallowing difficulties. You investigate, introduce, and follow up on alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), prescribe communication aids, and provide support to patients, loved ones, and their networks. The work is varied and consists of both individual patient contacts and educational initiatives together with other professionals.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed speech-language pathologist or who will soon graduate. Whether you are new to the profession or have experience, there are good opportunities to develop with us. Experience working with people with disabilities is a merit, but what is most important is your commitment to the target group.
You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating. You see the value of sharing knowledge and cooperating with patients, loved ones, colleagues, and other stakeholders to create the best conditions for the patient.
You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a driver's license (category B), as travel is part of the position. We place great importance on personal suitability.
