Our Offering
Within the field of pain and rehabilitation medicine, our clinic conducts specialized team-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, complex pain, fatigue, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. The clinic has 12 inpatient beds and serves as a resource unit for the Southeastern Healthcare Region.
We operate a specialized outpatient service with several different focus areas and also work in a consultative capacity with other units. Interprofessional teamwork, where patients, relatives, and relevant professionals jointly formulate rehabilitation goals, is central to our work.
We collaborate closely with other services involved in patients' care and rehabilitation. We also conduct assessments related to insurance medicine and traffic medicine, as well as operate a communication clinic for assessment and intervention in complex communication disorders. The clinic is a university healthcare unit, proud of our specialized expertise in pain, neurology, and rehabilitation. Research and development are integral to the clinic's work. Job Description
We are seeking two speech-language pathologists for our service: one permanent position and one fixed-term position.
The speech-language pathology duties include independently performing assessment and treatment of swallowing, language, speech, and voice difficulties, as well as addressing cognitive communication challenges. An important part of the work is educating patients, relatives, and other team members as needed. The work will primarily be directed toward inpatient care.
Work Team
The clinic employs four highly experienced speech-language pathologists with whom you will work closely. Work is conducted in teams with several other professions. The interprofessional team works closely with patients to advance neurological rehabilitation.

About You
You are a licensed speech-language pathologist with experience in neurological rehabilitation. It is advantageous if you have experience in brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, including speech-language pathology rehabilitation of tracheostomy patients, as well as FUS experience.

You are calm, stable, and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize your work efficiently. You have the ability to understand others' perspectives and situations. Great weight will be placed on your personal qualities.
