Eltel is a partner to Yunex Traffic and together we have been commissioned by Trafikverket to install telecommunications, control, and monitoring systems for the new E4 section, Förbifart Stockholm. As Logistics Manager in the project, you will be responsible for leading the work within logistics and machine and material supply, as well as ensuring compliance with supplier agreements in the logistics area. You work closely with site managers, system owners, project engineers, and planners internally to ensure correct information for balances and forecasts. You are also the contact person with external partners regarding warehouse and equipment rental. The role is based at our headquarters in Bromma with visits to our facilities and external warehouses. Responsibilities - Ensure that daily operations within material supply run smoothly and that work progresses according to plan - Collaborate with site manager, planners, technical preparation, and logistics and material coordinators to plan and ensure material supply - Ensure that material delivery schedules are met and report deviations to planners and project management - Responsible for the work processes of logistics and material coordinators together with site management - Close collaboration with planners, system owners, and the finance department - Order deliveries to site for system-specific materials - Follow up on warehouse inventory at the central warehouse (hub) and report deviations to relevant parties - Ensure compliance with logistics agreements - Collaborate with relevant suppliers to develop the ordering system Logiplan, monitor warehouse inventory, and ensure that inventory checks are conducted - Handle problems and challenges within material supply, report progress, major deviations, and incidents to the installation project manager - Develop and manage returns and waste management according to established processes and with relevant suppliers, from a sustainable perspective - Contribute expertise to optimize logistics processes and ensure efficient handling of material flows - Participate in meetings to ensure progress within logistics and material supply as well as claims management - Promote a positive work environment within your area of responsibility and ensure that all employees have the equipment and training needed to perform their tasks safely and efficiently - Support the recruitment process for the area of responsibility and ensure that introduction and other activities are conducted according to established processes in a positive, safe, and efficient manner Additional Information - The employment is full-time and begins with a six-month probationary period. Qualifications - We are looking for someone who has the ability to lead and contribute with commitment and initiative to the operations. This role is a central part of production and has many different contact points which you need to thrive with.
