Description
We are seeking a staff member for our regional department. You will be one of three technicians who together work with stage production in Gothenburg and throughout Västra Götaland.
The department is directly connected to performances and manages projects on GöteborgsOperan's small stage as well as our touring operations in the region. The role requires you to be a specialist in light and sound technology with a focus on lighting, though all theater technical tasks are included in the position.
Responsibilities
As a light and sound technician at GöteborgsOperan, you will work with lighting programming, rigging, lighting installations, video, live mixing, documentation, and basic maintenance/troubleshooting. During peak periods at GöteborgsOperan's main stage, you will also work there.
Required Qualifications
Experience in light and sound technology, preferably in the theater industry
Ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
Good computer skills
B-class driver's license
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of ETC EOS and Q-lab
Touring experience
Experience working as stage manager/theater technician
C-class driver's license
