Apply for the position of Security Coordinator at SiS Ljungbacken! The Security Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the Institution Director and local management group in systematic security work. By strategically coordinating, developing, and monitoring the home's security efforts, the Security Coordinator contributes to a safe and secure environment for both placed young people and staff. The Security Coordinator's duties include: Coordinating, establishing, quality assuring, and monitoring the home's risk and security assessments. Coordinating the home's drug prevention work, information security work, crisis preparedness and crisis management work, fire protection work, and other security activities. Coordinating the implementation of governing documents and developing action plans within the security area. Quality assurance, assessment, and compilation of deviation reports regarding occupational health and safety incidents in SiS's incident reporting system. This task also includes distributing investigation responsibility, following up on cases, and assisting the local management group with situation reports from the incident reporting system and escalating security deficiencies. Coordinating, establishing, and participating in introduction, training, and exercises within the security area. Conducting suitability assessments of staff who will administer the home's management of authority cards. Being the home's contact person for security-related matters toward both the authority's national security department and other authorities at local and regional levels. Collaborating with the local safety organization, managers, and other staff at the home, as well as with other security coordinators within SiS. Being the contact person for intelligence information from the authorities' intelligence operators. Other work tasks relevant to the role needed to achieve good results. As a Security Coordinator, you will work closely with the Institution Director but will also collaborate with the central security department and other security coordinators in the authority. With systematic approach, pedagogical skills, and strong collaboration abilities, your primary task is to increase security awareness among all staff. The goal is safe young people and staff in secure facilities. The position is located in the institution's administrative building, but regular visits to the institution's departments and continuous contact with unit managers on security matters are included in the work tasks. Qualifications You must have: Relevant post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college in the security field, or other post-secondary education and experience that the employer considers equivalent Experience with dynamic security work, including developing routines and work methods, and handling incidents and serious events Practical experience with exercises, training, and risk and security assessments Class B driver's license Good computer skills (Office suite) Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is meritorious if you have: Experience with technical physical security work Experience working with coercive care or deprivation of liberty Experience working within SiS or the prison service As a person, you are responsible, creative, positive, and have great willingness and ability to develop yourself and others. You are a problem solver who is structured and enjoys working both independently and in groups. You take great responsibility for your work and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are analytically and pedagogically inclined. We place high demands on your security and confidentiality awareness. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Employment: The position is a temporary contract for six months with the possibility of extension. Start date by agreement. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday. Flexible working hours agreement applies.
