Is it you? Together we make a difference for all of society. As a Line Technician, you work on projects where you build large overhead power lines. Climbing at real heights is part of your daily work. You move between jobs by car and at the work site you transport yourself, colleagues, materials, and equipment using a tracked vehicle or six-wheeler. In this role, you will work on new construction and rebuilding on the regional and transmission grid 130-400kV which in practice means; Perform work from the ground or at great heights either by climbing or from a basket Recurring work tasks include pole setting, various types of assembly work in poles, pulling overhead lines, and replacing poles with accessories Contribute to safe work in the field for you and your colleagues Travel is a natural part of the work. You typically work at a different location with longer working days Monday-Thursday to be off on Friday. We use home-based positioning, which means you have a service vehicle at home and depart from your residence. On-call duty may also be included.
