Description:

At the Medical Products Agency, we make a difference together. In life and for life. We work for the health of people and animals, for a better Sweden today and in the future. Are you a pharmacist with experience from pharmacies and an interest in medicines not approved in Sweden? We in the License Group are looking for a new colleague! Our Operations The Authorization Operations division has nearly 400 employees and consists of several units, including the Unit for Clinical Trials and Licenses. We are 46 colleagues divided into three groups whose main task is to make decisions on authorizations for clinical drug trials and license applications for medicines not approved in Sweden. The License Group consists of 11 colleagues and we are now recruiting a new colleague for one year. Your Tasks The work consists of both routine tasks with registration of manual cases, mail handling, and more complex tasks such as processing and making decisions on license applications. Your responsibilities are to receive license applications, compile and assess documentation, and then make decisions on the cases. You will also answer questions by phone and in writing. The work is independent, but takes place in close collaboration with pharmaceutical, preclinical, and clinical expertise in an interdisciplinary environment. The work is characterized by a very high daily flow of cases and many contacts with pharmacies, doctors, pharmaceutical companies, and the public. Your Background We are looking for someone trained as a pharmacy technician or pharmacist. You should have worked several years at a pharmacy with pharmaceutical tasks and licenses. You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and to understand information in Swedish and English. You have very good computer skills. It is an advantage if you have worked as a case handler at a government agency. Your Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with rapid learning ability, who is thorough and can work according to guidelines, but who can also take own initiative. You work independently while having an easy time collaborating and building good relationships. You are responsible and initiate and complete your commitments and are comfortable and enjoy handling many cases simultaneously with tight deadlines. Furthermore, you need to be able to focus on details but also see the bigger picture. We place great importance on personal qualities.
