We're looking for a confident, playful, and responsible personal assistant for a cheerful and active 5-year-old girl in Bromma. ________________________________________ About the Job You'll be an important part of the girl's daily life - someone who creates safety, joy, and structure. She's curious and loves movement, play, and interaction. She has autism, intellectual disability, and epilepsy, which means she needs support with most things and requires you to be attentive and calm as her assistant. She doesn't speak in words, but communicates all the time in her own way. If you're a good listener, you'll quickly learn to understand her. On weekdays she attends preschool during the day, so the work is mainly afternoons, evenings, and weekends. ________________________________________ What Do You Do on the Job? No two days are exactly the same, but it might involve: 1. playing - indoors and outdoors (playground, trampoline, ball games, swings, reading books) 2. helping with everyday things like meals, clothes, hygiene, and medication 3. being present, attentive, and creating a calm and safe environment 4. coming up with fun activities that small children enjoy This is an active job where you really use both your heart and imagination. ________________________________________ Who Is This Job Right For? This job is a good fit if you: 1. love children and still have that childlike spirit 2. are calm, responsible, and reliable 3. dare to take initiative and come up with ideas 4. have good physical fitness (heavy lifting may occur) 5. are smoke- and perfume-free at work 6. are at least 18 years old and speak Swedish well Extra bonus if you have: 1. worked with children before (preschool, babysitting, au pair, assistance) 2. experience with autism 3. knowledge of visual supports/PECS But: personality matters most - the rest can be learned. ________________________________________ Work Hours & Employment The work takes place mainly in afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Example hours could be weekdays around 3:30 PM-9:00 PM and weekends around 1:00 PM-9:00 PM, but exact times will be determined by mutual agreement and can vary. Hourly employment with fixed hourly rate + overtime pay according to industry standard.
