We are an attractive and independent Montessori operation that runs preschool, primary school grades F-6, and after-school care for approximately 60 children and students in beautiful facilities in Maria Park, Helsingborg. We see the entire operation as a whole, and our guiding principles run through all parts of our activities, from preschool through grade 6 and in the after-school program. Quick Facts About the Job Scope: Part-time (approximately 20%) Duration: Permanent Employment Type: Permanent or fixed-term employment About the Job We are now seeking licensed teachers for grades 3-6 to teach Spanish and Crafts respectively at Montemini Hbg's Montessori School. We offer a smaller setting and an operation with close relationships to colleagues, children/students, and guardians. The operation also has close collaboration with the employer's representatives, and together we work based on well-functioning structures and clear guidelines to develop the quality of our activities. Processes and decision-making paths are short, and you can quickly see the results of decisions made. Job Description Your responsibilities include planning, teaching, and continuously monitoring students' knowledge development, as well as other relevant tasks. Together with your work team, you share responsibility for all students' well-being and safety during the school day. We work based on Maria Montessori's ideas and research on learning, which means that teaching is conducted in mixed-age groups. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher for grades 3-6 or grades 1-6. You feel secure in your professional role and have good knowledge of current curriculum documents. You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner and are well-versed in the entire teaching process, from planning and implementation to follow-up and assessment/grading. Montessori training or experience with Montessori pedagogy is a merit.
