Our Offer
Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Finspång Health Center, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and General Medical Training Center. We conduct broad primary care services where we offer care for everyone throughout their entire lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and end-of-life patients.
Ekholmen Health Center is located in the southern part of Linköping and currently has approximately 22,000 registered patients. We offer you as a new nurse/district nurse a tailored introduction based on your needs. With an appointed mentor, we want to create security for you as someone new to primary care.

Job Description
Your tasks at the health center are varied and include the general medical field where you meet patients with different backgrounds of all ages. In first-line care, you work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in telephone consultations and nurse clinics.
In both acute and planned operations, you receive patients and collaborate with other professionals. We view continued skills development positively and there are opportunities for development within your own area of responsibility.
Work Team
We are approximately 70 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work environment.
The health center has physician clinics, specialist nurse clinics, nurse clinics, assistant nurse clinics, child health care, psychosocial expertise, dietitian, foot care, and laboratory. We also manage a number of nursing homes and collaborate with home care services.

About You
You are a licensed nurse or district nurse, preferably with primary care experience.
You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to C1 level.
You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant demeanor toward patients and colleagues, and communicate in a clear and unpretentious manner. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We want to develop the care we offer our patients, and to do that we need curious and driven employees, so we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
