We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and want to work permanent night shifts. You are interested in working with person-centered care and have a rehabilitation-focused approach. You have good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Experience working in stroke and/or rehabilitation as well as experience working in Cosmic are merits but not required.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are collaboration-oriented and find it easy to build good relationships with both colleagues and patients. You are flexible and can adapt to changing work conditions, while also having good problem-solving abilities and the ability to make well-founded decisions in different situations.
What you will work with
Ward 41 is staffed at night by 2 registered nurses and 2 nursing assistants. The Stroke Unit's goal is to work with the entire care chain, from acute stroke onset until the patient is discharged, sometimes with support from our SHR team. At the Stroke Unit you work together with the team based on clear procedures grounded in the National Board of Health and Welfare's National Guidelines for Stroke.
At Neuro Rehabilitation we have Norrbotten's highest rehabilitation level and here we care for and rehabilitate patients with, among other things, spinal cord injuries and acquired brain injuries. The rehabilitation provided is at specialist level (accredited according to CARF) and patients come here from across the region by referral.
In your role as a registered nurse with us, you ensure patients' medical and specific care needs and then plan and prioritize the interventions to be implemented. We work with person-centered care where the patient is a natural part of the team. As a nurse on the ward you work with both acute care and rehabilitation. In patient-centered work you work in close collaboration with nursing assistants.
