About Us
The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Katrineholm is a well-functioning workplace with approximately 50 employees. The clinic consists of a base team, an on-call team, a substance abuse center, and a psychosis team. The clinic employs nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, occupational therapists, a psychotherapist, social workers, psychologists, and medical secretaries.

We work in teams and our staff possesses many competencies, which allows us to offer a broad range of treatments in addition to medical care. Some examples include individual therapy based on psychodynamic or cognitive behavioral approaches, trauma treatment with EMDR and Prolonged Exposure, ERGT, DBT, self-care groups, ADHD groups, depression groups, and PPI.
The clinic is located at Kullbergska Hospital, which is within walking distance of the train station.
Together we have many years of work experience; of course, some have been in the field longer while others are at the beginning of their careers. Both PDT and CBT are represented. We support each other with complex cases. You have significant flexibility in managing your calendar. Supervision is offered regularly. We also have well-established collaboration with the adult rehabilitation clinic. Opportunities for further education are available.

Your Responsibilities
Here you will have the opportunity to meet patients with complex difficulties. Common conditions include depression, anxiety-related disorders, bipolar syndrome, personality disorders, neuropsychiatric functional impairment, substance abuse, and psychotic illness.
As a psychologist, you will perform standard tasks such as assessment, evaluation, and treatment. You are expected to participate in and contribute the psychological perspective to teamwork.
Your Qualifications
You are a licensed psychologist, preferably with experience in psychiatric outpatient care. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as the ability to take initiative and to work both independently and collaboratively with others when needed.
Employment Type
Permanent full-time position; the level of employment can be discussed with a start date by mutual agreement.
