We are seeking an engaged and skilled Swedish or Swedish as a Second Language teacher who wants to teach adult students Swedish at our school in Borlänge. EnRival operates small, personnel-intensive school units with a focus on quality, engagement, and collaboration. Our primary focus is adult education in healthcare and social services, but we also offer education in trade and service, as well as higher vocational education in logistics and service. Your Assignment As a Swedish/SVA teacher, you are responsible for teaching, assessment, and grading in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language (SVE1 or SVA1). The position includes planning and delivering in-person instruction. You assess student performance according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans for Komvux and assign grades in accordance with your teaching certification. You work closely and collaborate with care teachers, pedagogues, career guidance counselors, and other staff. Some students will have a need for language-supportive teaching methods, and this is where your expertise becomes especially important. We want you to create a language-developing learning environment that benefits all our students. You bring energy, spark interest, and explain concepts in ways that make Swedish engaging and fun. Teaching is conducted on-site, full-time or part-time by agreement. Your Competence and Background Mandatory requirements: - Teaching certification with a focus on Swedish or Swedish as a Second Language at upper secondary level - Strong knowledge of the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans for Komvux Meritorious: - Experience with adult education - Experience with language-supportive teaching methods in vocational training (occupational Swedish) Documentation The work involves documentation for the commissioning organization and students. Good digital competence is required—we use several digital tools, and teaching materials are available both digitally on It'sLearning and in printed form.
