The Otolaryngology Clinic in Region East Gothia is one of the country's largest. We are responsible for both regional healthcare and highly specialized care within the Southeastern healthcare region. In total, we have approximately 240 employees at the clinic, with operations in both Linköping and Norrköping, and include outpatient clinics, inpatient ward, surgical operations, hearing rehabilitation, speech-language pathology, interpreter services, and administrative offices.

Job Description
As a licensed physician with us, you will receive a broad introduction to the otolaryngology specialty and work primarily with outpatients at University Hospital Linköping and Vrinnevi Hospital Norrköping. The work includes investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with both acute and planned ear, nose, and throat conditions. You work closely with experienced specialists and progressively gain increased responsibility based on your competence and experience.
On-call work is included and is arranged at University Hospital Linköping. During on-call duty, you handle acute otolaryngology patients and are responsible, with support from backup on-call, for the clinic's hospitalized patients.

About You
We are seeking you who are already a licensed physician. If you have previous experience within otolaryngology, we see that as strongly qualifying.
We see that you have a genuine interest in ear, nose, and throat diseases and wish to develop within the specialty in a stimulating and academic environment. You are curious, engaged, and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.
To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, communicative, and confident in your professional role, and have good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. Great weight is placed on personal suitability and your willingness to contribute to both clinical and academic work.

We offer two fixed-term positions as a licensed physician for the period September 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027. We work with continuous selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
