The health center is beautifully located in the heart of Gothenburg's harbor inlet in modern, air-conditioned facilities. Sannegården Health Center has a stable workforce where we enjoy work and everyone helps each other. We operate and develop our activities together. Today we are approximately 23 employees in various professional categories working at the health center and have around 9,100 registered patients of all ages. At Sannegården Health Center, we work with everything from preventive health care to acute care. The health center offers child health services, district nurse clinic, and clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, smoking cessation, hypertension, menopause, and elderly and dementia care. We have a rehabilitation coordinator and a care planning nurse, as well as a psychosocial team consisting of a psychologist, social worker, and care coordinator. In the same facilities as the health center is also Närhälsan Sannegården Rehabilitation Clinic, which provides fast communication channels and opportunities for simple collaborations. You work independently and alternating with clinic work. Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist who gives you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. If you are interested in free and varied work with the patient where your and your colleagues' work environment is in focus, this job is for you. About You You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish health and medical care and have an interest in primary care and completing specialty training (ST) in general medicine. You possess Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. We are looking for you who are attentive and have good interpersonal skills since you will meet many different patients at the health center. You work independently and are confident in making your own decisions, while contributing with commitment and initiative to the development of the operation. You enjoy teamwork and like to collaborate with colleagues and partners to create a care environment characterized by quality, trust and consideration together. The position is a 6-month temporary position, with possible extension and specialty training. For those of you who have trained as a physician abroad and have not completed base service (AT) in Sweden to obtain physician licensure, you are covered by the new regulations regarding Base Service from July 1, 2021. Base Service for physicians (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of specialty training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8).
