In Perstorp, you will have the chance to develop your knowledge across municipal activities, working in both special housing, ordinary housing, and LSS/psychiatry. The Rehabilitation Group, your closest colleagues, consists of 2 physiotherapists, 3 occupational therapists, and 2 rehabilitation assistants. Responsibilities As an occupational therapist with us in Perstorp, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You share overall rehabilitation responsibility with the physiotherapist. You conduct assessments, training, evaluation, and follow-up, as well as testing and follow-up of technical aids based on occupational therapist prescription rights. The work also includes informing, instructing, and guiding staff, patients, and relatives regarding rehabilitative and preventive measures. You will participate in and teach our transfer training for care personnel. You will work with quality registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert. Perstorp has been designated a Gold Municipality for two consecutive years for Senior Alert work at residential care facilities. As Perstorp is a smaller municipality, work occurs in special housing, home care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Close collaboration takes place with other professions, teamwork, and work with discharge planning and planning based on "My Plans" when patients return home from inpatient care. Weekend work may occur on certain weekends and holidays, involving monitoring patients admitted to the hospital who may be discharged on weekends. Documentation is completed in the LifeCare system. Qualifications We are looking for you as a licensed occupational therapist. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in municipal primary care. For this position, you must also be able to independently plan and organize your work while collaborating well with other functions both internally and externally. You need to be flexible as work tasks can vary.
