Within Ronneby's rehabilitation unit, approximately 10 occupational therapists, 9 physical therapists, 2 rehabilitation assistants, 2 dementia nurses, and 3 Silvia sisters work together. The unit operates as a team. We develop our operations with digital tools and methods with the goal of being an attractive and modern employer and care provider.
We are now seeking a licensed occupational therapist for our home care service. The operation is characterized by a structured approach, good collaboration, and a focus on quality in care and rehabilitation. You will become part of an interdisciplinary team with broad expertise and opportunities for continuous professional development.

JOB DUTIES
As an occupational therapist in home care, you work with patients in their home environment or in short-term care activities. You meet people with different needs and contribute to strengthening their functional and activity capacity. In addition to being part of the Rehabilitation Unit team, you will also participate in an assessment team with colleagues from other professions. The assessment team works to ensure that discharges from inpatient care occur in a safe, secure, and efficient manner.
The occupational therapist role includes the following work tasks:
• Assessment, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy interventions
• Prescription and follow-up of assistive devices
• Development of rehabilitation plans and documentation
• Collaboration in multiprofessional teams with, among others, physical therapists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, nursing assistants, and case managers
• Cooperation with other actors and organizations
• Participation in development work related to the transition toward Care Close to Home
The work involves independent responsibility with good opportunities to plan and structure your workday.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you as a licensed occupational therapist with a strong ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with well-developed collaboration skills and the ability to work with other professions. To succeed in this position, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented, with the ability to adapt interventions based on the individual's needs with a clear focus on the patient.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
A class B driver's license is required.
To be employed within the care and social services administration in Ronneby Municipality, you must provide an extract from the police's criminal record register. The form to be used is called "Work in the home with elderly people and people with disabilities". Normal processing time is approximately two weeks. Remember to order the extract in good time.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
