We are looking for a licensed veterinarian with several years of work experience who wants to join our team and work broadly within small animal veterinary care. With us, you'll have the opportunity to use and develop your expertise across multiple areas – from outpatient clinic and ward to emergency care, surgery, and on-call duties. About AniCura Kumla Animal Hospital AniCura Kumla Animal Hospital offers high-quality medical, emergency, and surgical veterinary care in a dynamic acute care setting and a pleasant environment. AniCura Kumla is part of Area North, which includes animal hospitals and clinics in fourteen locations. The hospital has departments for emergency care, wards, surgery, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation, and support functions including phone and reception. I am the recruiter, Jens Berisson, working as the hospital director here. We now want to strengthen our great team and are looking for a Licensed Veterinarian who is passionate about animal care and wants to continue developing the animal hospital together with us. About the Role This is a role for someone who appreciates that no two days need to be the same. Your primary focus will be tailored to your experience and interests, but we would like you to feel comfortable moving between different parts of the operation. With us, you can work with, for example: Outpatient cases and diagnostic investigations. Hospitalized patients in the ward. Emergency patients and emergency care. Surgery and perioperative care. On-call and evening duties. More advanced cases based on your expertise and experience. Who Are You? We believe you are a veterinarian who: Is a licensed veterinarian with several years of clinical experience. Feel confident in your veterinary role and can work independently. Have experience from multiple areas of small animal veterinary care, such as outpatient clinic, ward, emergency, and/or surgery. Enjoy varying cases and like broadening your expertise. Feel confident making clinical decisions and prioritizing when the situation requires it. Have a genuine interest in good patient care and professional communication with pet owners. Are a team player who enjoys working with competent and committed colleagues. Are curious and want to continue developing – whether that means deepening your knowledge in a specific area or maintaining a broad clinical role. Are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in emergency care, surgery, or specialist competence in canine and feline diseases is a plus.
