Duties As a nurse in municipal health and medical care, you will lead nursing and health care work at the short-term care unit Lunden. You will collaborate with nursing assistants, care personnel, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and unit managers. You will also cooperate with primary care, hospital care and other actors from a holistic perspective on the patient. You will have overall patient responsibility for the care of your patients. This includes being able to make your own assessments, blood tests, wound dressing, medication handling, injections, diabetes care and other relevant work tasks. The work also includes prevention of diseases and disease complications such as fall injuries, malnutrition and mental health issues. Furthermore, the work may involve caring for patients at end of life. You are a driven and solution-focused person who is used to prioritizing your work tasks. You have good communication skills, contribute to a good work environment and find it easy to cooperate. As a nurse you also instruct and train/delegate personnel in nursing care and health care services. You actively participate in development work to improve our operations.
