As a nurse at Pajala Municipality, you have varied and independent work. Your work tasks include healthcare interventions such as medication management, wound dressing, catheter replacement and end-of-life care. The work involves great personal responsibility with varied tasks and it is therefore important that you are confident in your professional role. The work is primarily scheduled for evenings and weekends; we apply individual scheduling. An important part of the work is to supervise, support and educate/delegate health and care tasks to care personnel. You are part of the municipality's Health and Care Unit which, in addition to nurses, consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and district nurses. QUALIFICATIONS • Licensed Nurse. • District nurse education, geriatrics or other relevant advanced training is advantageous. • Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. • Good knowledge of Swedish is required. • Category B driver's license is required. Before employment, a register extract must be presented according to Law 2026:43 Law on register checks for work in the home for elderly people or adults with disabilities. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, ends: 2027-02-28. We only accept digital applications. In Pajala Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. This means that the salary is set based on current collective agreements – general provisions including appendices as well as the municipality's salary policy. Upon new employment, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements placed on the position. The minimum starting salary is SEK 23,638. For employees with vocational preparatory upper secondary education, the starting salary is SEK 25,798. Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, therefore it is advantageous if you have knowledge of one or both of these languages.
