In spring 2022, we started a unit for young people's mental health at Alepraktiken, UPH Älvan. The operation is an additional assignment that involves being a resource center with concentrated specialized expertise for assessment, treatment, and consultation within primary care for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues. Job Responsibilities The work has a primary care perspective and includes counseling, assessment, treatment, and diagnosis of children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues based on needs and stepped care. The assignment also includes parental support, both individually and in groups, with a focus on early interventions and self-help. Services are offered both in-person and digitally. We see the patient as a whole and place great emphasis on collaboration with other actors in society such as schools and social services. As an employee with us, you will work in a team with experienced psychologists, social workers, physicians, and administrators. The unit manager is a psychologist and works partly clinically. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and/or licensed psychotherapist with at least one year of prior experience with the target group. Ideally, you have substantial experience in assessment, psychological treatment, and interventions for parents, children, and young people including CBT competence.
