Duties As a teacher, your main responsibility is to plan, deliver, and follow up on instruction. As a mathematics teacher, your task is to motivate and give each student the opportunity to develop successfully. You actively contribute to the school's overall development and take responsibility for helping students progress as far as possible in their learning. Mentoring is included in the position. Qualifications You hold a teaching certificate with authorization to teach mathematics at the upper secondary level. It is meriting if you hold certification in another subject. You are a clear leader who actively works for safety and a good study environment in a creative classroom where students are given a voice. You teach in an inspiring manner and engage with students and their goals. You understand the importance of building good relationships with young people and have a low-affect approach characterized by confidence in your students. You are prepared to reflect together with colleagues on your own and others' approaches and interactions. Sound understanding of the school's mission and knowledge of current regulations are prerequisites. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. The position is a permanent full-time appointment (100%) with start as soon as possible. We may apply a probationary period for new hires.
