About the Position
The Region is processing our application to start patient choice within rehabilitation. Meliva Rehab, together with the Primary Care Center and BVC, plan to start operations on November 1, 2026.
We are looking for you who are an occupational therapist and want to be part of building our operations from the start.
As an occupational therapist at Meliva Rehab Ytterby, you will work with rehabilitation at the primary care level in accordance with the requirements specified in the Health and Medical Services Act and within the Requirements and Quality Manual for Patient Choice Rehabilitation. Our goal is to guide and create a sense of security for patients of all ages through genuine personal care.

Your duties as an occupational therapist include assessing and treating patients in areas such as hand function, pain, mental health, and cognitive impact. Your work also includes prescribing aids and providing certificates for home modifications. You meet patients at the clinic, through home visits, or at digital meetings. Patient treatment is conducted both individually and in groups.
The work includes collaboration with other professionals within and outside the unit to offer assessment and treatment based on the patient's individual rehabilitation plan and needs. We value patient participation and influence over their own care to facilitate preventive health work and support self-care.
Together with colleagues and your supervisor, you are responsible for developing operations and continuous improvement work with great opportunity to influence your daily work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in primary care is meritorious.
Basic competence in insurance medicine as required by VGR and competence to prescribe aids.
Supervisor training is meritorious.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability where flexibility is valued.
