Duties The position is located at Furubacken in Fränsta, which is your main workplace where you have an office. The assignment includes work within the municipality's special residential care facilities, short-term care, and dementia services. As an occupational therapist, you will, among other things, conduct activity assessments of patients and implement occupational therapy interventions to support daily activities, which requires flexibility and resourcefulness. You will also prescribe assistive devices, supervise staff, and work with documentation for housing adaptation grants. You work closely with physical therapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, supervisors, and nursing assistants. It is therefore beneficial if you have experience working in multiprofessional teams. A significant part of the work consists of supervision and providing instructions. We therefore value strong pedagogical skills. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist and has the ability to see the whole picture regarding an individual's needs and to collaborate with other professional groups. We would like to see that you have previous work experience as an occupational therapist, but we also welcome newly graduated professionals. A driver's license and good computer skills are required.
