The Health and Care Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to elderly people and persons with disabilities, and is responsible for administrative functions according to applicable legislation. The administration operates within elderly care, LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), social psychiatry, health and medical care, family support, and administrative functions. All work is carried out with the resident in focus, based on core values of respect, participation, trust, and security. JOB DUTIES We are seeking a dedicated and confident companion for a girl with autism and intellectual disability. The assignment aims to give her the opportunity to participate in various recreational activities and experience an active and meaningful leisure time based on her interests and abilities. About the client: A 17-year-old girl with autism and intellectual disability who does not have verbal communication. She communicates in other ways and needs a companion who is attentive, responsive, and can interpret her signals and needs. She enjoys being outdoors doing activities such as taking the bus, cycling, swimming, visiting playgrounds, and exploring new environments. The assignment is about creating safe and positive experiences based on her interests and daily condition. You contribute to structure, predictability, and a calm environment where she can feel secure. The assignment: Weekends, Saturday or Sunday - 4 hours per occasion - 16 hours per month QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is: • Calm, confident, and patient • Stable and responsible • Responsive to the individual's needs and signals • Flexible and solution-oriented • Interested in building a long-term relationship • It is an advantage if you have experience with autism and alternative communication. • You need to have experience working with children or young people with disabilities or other special support needs.
