The Office of the National Police Commissioner is responsible for providing support to the Police Authority's management and serving as the coordinating contact point with the Ministry of Justice. The duties include, among other things, coordinating materials and statements for the National Police Commissioner, coordinating the National Police Commissioner's weekly briefings and meetings in the national strategic management group and other national forums led by the National Police Commissioner, Deputy National Police Commissioner, or the Director of Administration. Job Description You will work as a management support officer in the Office of the National Police Commissioner. The role involves responsibility for delivering high-quality administrative and coordinated support to managers and other team members in the department. You will have a central role in the department's work and gain good insight into what happens within the Police Authority. The work involves many contacts, both internally and externally. Your tasks may include: Serving as a hub in the office's administrative work. This includes managing the department's email, calendar and meeting bookings, orders, and travel bookings. Administering agendas and materials for the National Police Commissioner's weekly briefings and other meetings. Handling certain matters that come to the office, for example certain correspondence. Contributing to the development of the department's administrative routines and working methods. This is an opportunity for you if you have: Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant work experience as assessed by the Police Authority Several years of experience working as an executive secretary, administrative support, or equivalent at a strategic management level. Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Swedish citizenship It is a merit if you also have: Work experience from a government agency or other public sector organization Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is service and solution-oriented and has excellent organizational skills. You thrive being a "hub" and have the ability to quickly understand different contexts and change focus when needed. You have good social skills and communicate without pretension.
