In the Airport Operation Center (APOC), you'll have a central role where you lead and coordinate operational management with a focus on safety, punctuality, and service. What does the role involve? As an Operations Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring the airport's operations and resource allocation function efficiently around the clock. You handle incoming events, calls, and alarms to the airport's Operations Center and coordinate and direct operational staff assignments based on incoming cases. The Operations Manager is responsible for the airport's technical monitoring systems and monitoring of the airport's perimeter security. In this role, you manage and allocate resources to tasks that help our passengers get to and from aircraft. Your responsibilities also include coordinating and allocating parking positions for aircraft, logistics on the apron, and information to vehicles and other equipment on the apron based on incoming cases. The airport operates 24/7, year-round, which means the position involves shift work with 12–13 hour shifts, both day and night. The position also includes on-call duty at home with a requirement to reach the airport within a maximum of 1.5 hours. Therefore, you must have a valid driver's license and access to a car or other personal transportation. This position is a temporary contract for a minimum of one year, with the possibility of extension. Who are you? We are looking for: Relevant education in, for example, operations/alarm operator, risk and crisis management, or alternatively experience in security work. Strong Swedish and English language skills, both spoken and written Valid driver's license Meriting factors: Experience working at an operations center or in airport operational management Experience in a coordinating or supervisory role As a person, you are calm and stable, with the ability to make quick and rational decisions even under pressure. Flexibility and a clear focus on safety allow you to easily adapt to changes and reprioritizations in your daily work. You are communicative, collaborative, and accommodating – you easily build engagement and good relationships both within your team and with external stakeholders. At the same time, you are organized, thorough, and follow rules and procedures, but can act quickly when the situation demands it. What do we offer you?
