Korpen Karlstad is a sports association founded in 1945 with a focus on physical activity, movement joy, and community rather than competition. We create both traditional sports training and programs for those who want to stay active because it's fun and to create what doesn't currently exist in the sports world. We are seeking three leaders who can support and have fun with our target group of people in daily activities, during their training session one day per week this fall. The activity is held 6 Mondays at 10:00 at Fröding Arena this fall, starting October 5. We try different sports at each session, work on coordination and various station exercises. Are you passionate about helping people with intellectual disabilities and want to give them an active leisure time with the goal of strengthening their self-esteem, creating a sense of community, and helping the group experience success together? We work with clear structure so that individuals feel secure in the concept. You should have experience with people with diagnoses or intellectual disabilities, have understanding and a big heart. We are looking for someone with a positive, cheerful personality who can adapt your leadership style based on each individual. Participants will attend the activity together with staff from their department. Compensation of 100 kr per session is paid out after 6 sessions, but we hope you do this because you are passionate about helping our target group. Does this sound interesting?
