About the Position As a Lean Consultant in Additive Manufacturing (AM), you will play a central role in developing and optimizing production operations. The assignment focuses on creating a more standardized, structured, and visually controlled production environment through implementing and advancing Lean methods, with particular emphasis on 5S, standardized work, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with operators, team leaders, and operations managers to identify improvement opportunities, drive change initiatives, and ensure sustained improvement efforts. As a Lean Consultant, your main responsibilities will include: Implement and advance 5S within AM production Develop, document, and establish standardized work procedures Identify efficiency improvements in processes and workflows Support visual management and daily management practices Facilitate improvement workshops and training initiatives Conduct value stream analyses and root cause analyses Contribute to strengthening and developing a long-term Lean culture in the organization This full-time Lean Consultant position is a consulting engagement with a planned start on September 1, 2026, and runs through September 30, 2027. About You We are looking for someone with documented experience driving Lean transformations in manufacturing or other production environments. You have strong knowledge of Lean principles and methods such as 5S, standardized work, visual management, daily management, and continuous improvement. You have the ability to tailor your message to different audiences within the organization. Furthermore, you are an engaging and pedagogical person who builds trust and motivates people to contribute to change and improvement.
