The Lead Planner Role
As Lead Planner, you lead and quality assure the project's planning process. You are responsible for establishing, developing, monitoring, and using schedules as an active management tool throughout the project's phases. The role involves close collaboration with other key functions within the project.
Your responsibilities include:
having primary responsibility for the project's schedule management and monitoring, including progress, forecasts, and deviation management
leading, coordinating, and quality assuring the project's scheduling work in collaboration with project schedulers and other key functions
ensuring that schedules are established and structured according to the project's common working methods, WBS, and NCC's processes
analyzing relationships between time, production, procurement, engineering, finance, and contractual commitments
identifying, analyzing, and reporting time-related risks, opportunities, and consequences for project implementation
preparing clear decision-making and forecast materials for project management, steering group, and customer in collaborative projects
contributing to the development of working methods, tools, and methodologies within planning, for example through analyses of critical path, alternative scenarios, and progress monitoring
supporting project management on issues related to contract time, change management, and time-related commercial matters.
Your Profile as Lead Planner
We are looking for someone with experience leading and driving planning work in complex environments, preferably in large construction and/or infrastructure projects. You understand how the schedule impacts the project's finances, resource planning, procurement, engineering, and production.
You have strong analytical ability and can translate detailed information into well-founded decisions that support the organization's overall goals. At the same time, you have the ability to see the bigger picture, identify connections, and foresee the consequences of different choices.
You have a good understanding of production flows and enjoy working in a role where you get to create structure, coordinate various stakeholders, and help ensure the project stays on track throughout implementation.
You have excellent ability to communicate and engage others in planning work, create alignment between different functions, and convey complex information clearly and pedagogically.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Experience with Primavera P6 is a merit.
About Division Building Large Projects
The Division Building Large Projects develops and manages complex construction projects with order values of approximately 1.5 billion or more.

Additional Information
The position is a permanent full-time employment. The work location is flexible based on the project's requirements. The position requires that you have the ability to travel on business. For this position, we conduct background checks in accordance with NCC's security culture. The Division may work with security-classified projects, so security clearance may be required.
