The assignment involves national responsibility for leading, developing, and future-proofing a major accounting operation undergoing comprehensive organizational change. About the Role
You will be responsible for the accounting operations on a national level and lead the organization through a number of experienced managers. The role carries overall responsibility for delivery, quality, finances, resource planning, and business development, while also positioning you as a key person in translating strategy into concrete ways of working and behaviors. The organization is facing an exciting transition where several previously independent operations will be consolidated into a unified national structure. Therefore, we are looking for a leader who not only recognizes what needs to change, but also has the ability to create engagement and drive the change forward. You will be part of the national management team and work closely with several senior leaders to develop the business, strengthen collaboration across operations, and create the working methods of the future.
This opportunity is a position with the client and you will work at the headquarters in Stockholm. Travel to other offices throughout the country will occur.
What We Believe You Have
You have several years of experience leading other managers and are comfortable combining business responsibility with operational leadership. You likely come from an audit, accounting, or consulting background, or from another Professional Services organization where quality, customer focus, and business development are central. We would like to see that you have experience with:
Leadership with people responsibility for managers
Results and business responsibility
Change management in a larger organization
Business development and KPI-driven management
Resource planning and capacity management
Digitalization, automation, or operational efficiency improvements
