WORK TASKS
The Waste Department faces many exciting challenges and therefore needs to recruit a roll-off truck driver. The position involves transporting and loading containers with waste and emptying them at designated locations. Together with us, you will become part of a team responsible for ensuring that Stockholm residents have their waste collected in a sustainable and cost-effective manner.
Examples of work tasks:
• Collect large containers/roll-offs, empty, and return them according to established routes
• Perform safety checks and daily maintenance work on vehicles
• Ensure vehicles are delivered and picked up for service and repairs
• Drive vehicles to annual safety inspections
• Ensure that vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained both inside and outside
This is a permanent employment position with a six-month probationary period, based at our facility in Högdalen
QUALIFICATIONS
As a person, you take great responsibility for your work and drive it forward in an independent and structured manner. You are communicative and have a service-oriented approach, while being flexible and able to adapt when circumstances change. You take initiative, solve problems, and collaborate well with others to achieve common goals.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Driver's license with at least Category C
• Valid professional competence certificate
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in a similar role
• Experience driving roll-off trucks and handling container collection in an inner-city environment.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
• Experience working as a roll-off truck driver for Stockholm City's operations
• Experience with supervisory work tasks.
