About the Company
The Göthes Group is a leading player in the sale of locks, fittings, security, and technical products in Scandinavia. With over 160 years of history, strong roots in Dalarna, and operations characterized by knowledge, quality, and long-term thinking, Göthes has built a position as a market leader over time – not overnight.
Many employees have been with the company for a long time and possess deep knowledge of products, technology, and customer needs. This has shaped a corporate culture with strong community, high professional pride, and close relationships – both internally and with customers. At the same time, there is a clear future focus, where sustainability, energy-efficient solutions, and environmentally conscious choices are a natural part of business development.
Now Göthes Säkerhet is looking for you to work as a lock technician in a varied, customer-focused role where service, technology, and quality are central. You are a good fit if you thrive with independent responsibility, enjoy solving problems, and want to contribute to secure and well-functioning security solutions for the company's customers – in a company where history, expertise, and long-term thinking meet continued development.
Your Tasks
As a lock technician at Göthes Säkerhet, you work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and annual inspections of doors, locks, fittings, and door automation. The role involves a combination of practical technical work on-site at customers and work in the workshop, where you, for example, process, assemble, and manufacture lock products.
You independently plan your customer visits, order materials, and ensure that the correct equipment and materials are available for each assignment. Minor installations may also occur, such as cable routing, commissioning, programming, testing, simple design work, and coordinated functional testing.
An important part of the work is documenting what has been completed, reporting working hours and material consumption in Hantverksdata, and ensuring that the order is correct before it is marked complete. You also have the opportunity to create your own work orders and make material purchases within the scope of your assignment.
The role carries clear responsibility for ensuring that work is performed in a safe, professional, and environmentally conscious manner. You are responsible for maintaining order in the workplace, vehicle, tools, and equipment, and for reporting any deviations or occupational health issues to management. In each assignment, the goal is for the customer to experience Göthes Säkerhet as a secure, knowledgeable, and professional supplier.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in locks, fittings, door automation, door environments, or similar technical service work. You are accustomed to working practically, have good technical understanding, and thrive in a role where you get to solve problems, take responsibility, and meet customers on a daily basis.
As a person, you are thorough, responsible, and service-oriented. You find it easy to build trust with customers and are committed to delivering work of high quality. You thrive with freedom under responsibility and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on your own assignments.
We would like to see that you have experience in service work, installation, troubleshooting, or programming. If you have previously worked in Hantverksdata or similar systems, that is a merit.
