About the Position
As a heavy truck mechanic, you work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy vehicles, primarily Mercedes-Benz trucks. The work is varied and includes both scheduled workshop tasks and more urgent matters.
Responsibilities:
Service and repair of heavy vehicles
Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
Customer-oriented problem-solving in the workshop and, if needed, in the field
Working hours are daytime, Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00. On an ongoing basis, on-call work may occur.
We are Looking for You
We are looking for someone with vehicle technical training and/or previous experience working with vehicles, preferably heavy vehicles or similar mechanical work. We believe that to succeed in this role, you have a good technical understanding and enjoy problem-solving in practical work.
Requirements:
Vehicle technical training or equivalent work experience
Class B driver's license
Previous experience with mechanical work
It is an advantage if you have experience with heavy vehicles and a Class C driver's license.
As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and service-oriented. You work well both independently and with others.
As part of the recruitment process, a background check is conducted, including a criminal record check.
