About the position Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Command, FMTIS, has the primary task of managing operations and maintenance of command support systems at all readiness levels both nationally and internationally. The unit you will join is led from Örebro but the work is located in Stockholm and distributed across several facilities. The Technical Surveillance (TB) technical area is a collective name for Swedish Armed Forces' alarm, access control, and CCTV systems. Main responsibilities The technician's main duties involve performing service and installation as well as commissioning of technical security systems. This is carried out within and outside Stockholm garrison at various types of facilities. The work includes burglar alarms, access control and camera systems. Management of integration of security products in local and global network structures. You will work in a team with technicians in different areas of responsibility who together are responsible for operations and maintenance, both within and outside the garrison. Since the work involves a lot of contact with both end users and clients, we want you to have well-developed social skills and find it easy to work both independently and in groups. Maintenance and service of systems Installation work Inspections (audits) Commissioning REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Completed upper secondary education in electrical or telecommunications technology or equivalent work experience as deemed by the employer. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Class B driver's license MERITORIOUS We consider it meritorious if you have worked with or have experience of: Current and relevant professional experience with CCTV, alarm and camera systems. Systems: Pacom Unison, Sentrion S4, Milestone, Bosch VMS. Professional experience from service work with electromechanical locks. Good knowledge of surveillance systems. Good knowledge of Windows operating systems. Familiar with working in Microsoft Office - Excel and Word. Experience with control and automation technology. Completed military basic training with conscription, GMU, GSU, combatant training or GU-F. Personal qualities As a person you are careful, security-conscious and responsible. You can prioritize tasks yourself and work both independently and in groups. You have good initiative and always strive to achieve high-quality results.
