The company is now scaling up its focus on alarm systems, cameras, and access control, and is seeking an alarm technician who wants to help build this area forward. Here you'll work in a stable company with short decision-making processes, while becoming part of an initiative to develop the business in alarm systems, cameras, and access control. The company was founded in 2010 and has evolved from a traditional locksmith shop into a complete security partner offering comprehensive solutions in locks, alarms, access systems, cameras, and fire protection—from design to installation and service. Today, Kanlås has approximately 20 employees and operations in Hudiksvall, Ljusdal, Söderhamn, and Bollnäs. The company is a certified alarm installation firm (alarm class 2) and is part of Prosero Security Group. You'll work closely with an alarm engineer and help develop the business forward. You'll work from home and visit customers, primarily throughout Hälsingland. The role is varied and includes installation, commissioning, and service work. You'll primarily work with systems such as Axema ARX, RCO M5/Mega, and Salto. Simple locksmith work and other installation tasks related to hardware may occur as needed, but the role has a clear focus on alarms, access control, and cameras over time. Duties • Installation and commissioning of alarm and access control systems • Service, troubleshooting, and maintenance • Customer contact and technical advice • Collaboration with alarm engineer and other technicians • Contributing to the development and growth of the alarm business What we're looking for • At least 2–3 years of experience with alarm and access control systems • Relevant education in electrical work or technology • Valid driver's license (category B) • Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written • Passed background check Meritorious if you have: • Experience with camera systems (CCTV, etc.) • Experience in sales of security solutions Personal qualities We're looking for someone who is service-oriented, takes responsibility, and enjoys working independently. You have a technical interest, are solution-focused, and value customer contact in your daily work.
