Our students receive instruction in both Swedish Sign Language and written Swedish. For students who cannot commute daily, we offer residential accommodation at the school. Our goal is a learning environment where every student has the opportunity to participate, develop, and feel a sense of belonging. Here, everyone can participate in social interaction, build relationships, and grow as individuals in a bilingual education. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a teacher to instruct Väner School students in grades 8-10. You will teach English and Social Studies as well as one additional subject. You will be part of a teaching team responsible for students in grades 8-10. As a teacher with us, you will play a central role in creating a positive and secure learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop both academically and socially. You have a secure and clear leadership style in the classroom and create structure through clear boundaries and expectations. The position includes responsibility for managing national exams, written assessments, and grading. You will plan, implement, follow up on, and evaluate instruction in class, independently and with colleagues. You have documentation responsibility related to instruction and other aspects of the educational mission. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: Education: • Certified teacher Other competencies: • You can work independently and adapt instruction based on the needs present in the learning environment. • Experience working with students who have neurodevelopmental disabilities. • A solution-focused and positive approach. • It is advantageous if you have experience working in a sign language environment. Language skills or communication methods: • Swedish Sign Language and Swedish. It is advantageous if you have teaching experience within special education. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: By agreement, end date: 2026-12-18.
